US & World Politics

The US and World Politics Blog is a preliminary compilation of three forms of communication: 1. Current issues of import. 2. Significant or intersting comments from the Boston Tea Party Chatroom chatters, http://www.sfwest.com server. (I plan to move all chats to a separate blog) 3. Letters written to representatives.

Insular Elitists: Cutiefoot, Planoman

Note: Planoman is a long time and regular chatter of the Boson Tea Party chat room, which makes him a significant, if misinformed, contributor.

- begin -
Cutiefoot: Vanax, on a humanitarian level, do you believe that it is good to liberate the Iraqi people?

Vanax: Cutie, I believe nothing. I instead observe the facts, which are that the UN Weapons inspectors destroyed any remaining WMDs, and Blix, the last head inspector, whom Bush really liked because he actually -- like you -- wanted to believe that Saddam indeed had WMDs, but did not find any, was dismayed they were not there. What he found was old shells and canisters that were either empty or that contained degraded bio. material. The disappointed Blix finally admitted to this. So, I ask you again, what WMDs did Bush know about? Where did he know they were located, and why didn’t he report their location to the inspectors and to his troops so the could find them? Why did he send his troops on a wild goose chase on purpose? So why did he convince you Republitards that his illegal invasion was necessary?

Dutchie: Vanax, *lol*

Cutiefoot: Vanax, You are wrong and very biased.

Vanax: Cutie, How am I biased? Blix and Kay said that Saddam had no WMDs but Bush said Saddam did have them. Since Bush knew about them, where did Bush hide them? Care to tell us where Bush, who knew about them, hid them so that his army could avoid those locations and could then truthfully say that it could not find them, which gave him the pretext to invade? Oh boy Cutie. You are brainwashed to the max.

Planoman : PDA-Chatter, After our entry into afghanistan and much od al qeada fled like cockroaches.....even into Iraq...we had plenty of reasons to go after Iraq.........

Vanax: Hmmm...let's see, you are saying that Bush did a competent thing by allowing Al Qaeda to escape from Afgh. and infoltrate Iraq? Is this it? A good plan would have been to prevent this contingency from happening. Don't you think? *S*

Vanax: Plano, yeah, Bush let terrorists infiltrate Iraq whereas before, Saddam kept them isolated outside Iraq. Saddam displayed good pretty good leadership, I would say. Saddam did a superb job protecting his country from Al Qaeda, and Bush sucked at it. If you think that Bush is competent, then it seems that it was Bushs plan. If you think he was incompetent, then he allowed them in by mistake. Which is it? Can’t be both. You are stuck with asking, “Do I want to admit that he is competent so that he wanted to let them into Iraq, which means he did a worse job than Saddam, or that Bush was incompetent to let them in?”

Cutiefoot: Vanax, So are you saying a tyrannical regime like the one under sadaam hussein should remain in power when we ever have reason to believe America is threatened?

Vanax: Cutiefoot, you listed three reasons that Fucktards on the Right gave as justification after the fact for the invasion, with each one a failed fall-back reason for the previous failed one. Bush pulled the same thing on us. I and many of us intelligent chatters did not fall for his deliberate misinformation right from the start. You did. Look at your own ignorance for why you fail to understand and correct your self-deception.

Planoman: Vanax, She'd have to be...her thinking Cutiefoot could actually have a rational discussion with you

Vanax: Cutie sounds dumb and dumber with each dumb post.

Dutchie: Vanax, she is sonlits daughter. Not a bad kid.

Planoman: Vanax, the yellowcake was NOT fake

Vanax: Saddam trying to get it from Niger was fake, Plano. Plame’s husband found that the story was based on phony documents originating from Italy. Later we learn that Michael Ladeen had something to do with them. We don’t know exactly what because the fucktard Ladeen, like all NeoCons and surviving and resurrected Old Cold Warriors in the WH, is keeping the extent of his likely despicable involvement secret.

Planoman: Vanax, I know it's tough for you...but TRY actually reading........Bush's claims were that Iraq TRIED to aquire yellowcake.............and this was concluded from the BUTLER report...............and confirmed by captured documents about dummy corps set up by saddam to accomplish this.

Vanax: Planoman, Oh yeah. Get real. Like I said, Plame’s husband concluded that Saddam did not try to get any Yellow Cake. Bush was pissed because it gave Rumsfeld less reason to invade Iraq with was already predetermined, and then Libby and Cheney vindictively outed Plame to get back at her husband and, in the process, endangered national security.

Oh, we know that Saadam's generals and scientists set up phony weapons programs, which may also mean phony documents from dummy corporations that Saddam's top generals set up to make it look as if they were were manufacturing WMDs -- you know, on the ball? Your incompetent CIA then listened to the chatter and, that part of the CIA that wanted to believe the generals who believed the chatter from Saddam 's generals, told Cheney to uncritically believed it all.

In other words, Saddam lied to his generals and the CIA pretended to believe that lie which they then reported as truth to Rumsfeld, Cheney, and Bush, the troika of evil.

Dutchie: Vanax: yep. She is just a kid.

Vanax: Dutchie, well, two things: I educated Cutiefoot because she was uneducated about the truth, but I may have been a bit too hard on her.

Vanax: Minute, you will note that I did not call her stupid; I just said she sounded like that. I don't call names. *S*

Minute: Vanax, yer more tolerant and friendlier than i am...

Vanax: Plano, when Bush stumped to overhaul Social Security, his support dropped the more he promoted it. What fun. And his repeated speeches to shore up support for the Iraq war haven't worked. ''Bush's poll numbers are going from bad to worse,'' said Andy Kohut, director of Pew Research Center, a Washington-based nonpartisan research group.”

Vanax: When Bush stumped to overhaul Social Security, his support dropped more the more he stumped for it. How funny. Must have been embarrassing. No. It’s Bush.

Rakitach: Cutiefoot, his brain matter is not capable of embarrassment. Look, the main selling point for the Bush invasion was WMDs. Remember Rice's ''mushroom cloud'' scare? Remember Powell holding up that fake Anthrax into the air at the UN and scaring the living bejesus out of all present there? I do. Then Yellow cake, aluminum tubes, mobile bio labs. All fake. So, no, Bush did not sell you the war based on Saddam being a brutal dictator. Hell, that's what dictators do!! They are bad people to their own. But the US does not attack Guatemala for its brutality to its own people. Why? No oil there? Give me a break. You sound really stupid and uneducated.

Vanax: Minute, so Cutie is your pregnant daughter?

Minute: No..she is going to be my pregnant girlfriend...just as soon as i can spirit her away from that fat janitor father of hers...

Vanax: Ahh, gotcha. I just hope that she does not spring yet another Rightwinger onto the world. *G*

Minute: I'll drown em as fast as she can pump em out...

Vanax: Minute, and they accused me, ha, of verbal brutality for my BHL remarks.

Minute: They'd accuse me too, but most people have me on ignore. *L*

Enzer: Minute, *S* Zulz leads the league tables on that one, being ignored. *g*

Vanax: Hi Dana. Minute has a Rightwing girlfriend, a pregnant one. She was here earlier preaching the goodness of Bush, but I educated her otherwise, so she left to think about it. Plano said that I educated her the wrong way. *S*

Minute: Vanax, I was just kidding. I'd rather date a rabid cocker spaniel than have a rightwing girlfriend

Vanax: Minute, I think you just punked me!!

Dana: Vanax, LOL

Minute: Vanax...well i incorrectly assumed you knew about my relationship with people that lack any synaptic activity....

Vanax: Dana, good news: Bush slept most of today. That's a half of a day during which time Bush is losing coaching time from Rove. Good for us loyal Americans.

SaltCloud: A respected opinion of the Bush war:

  • "What would Wilfred Owen make of the invasion of Iraq? A bandit act, an act of blatant state terrorism, demonstrating absolute contempt for the concept of International Law. An arbitrary military action inspired by a series of lies upon lies and gross manipulation of the media and therefore of the public."

Vanax: Dana, did you know that Gary is also Dosset/Nachez?

Dana: Vanax, I've heard that, though I've also heard Doss is his own person too, from a gal who has talked to him while Natchez has posted in the chat, so....

Dana: Vanax, I thought Hobson was Natchez but i was mistaken, Hobson got on my case about using the term Republitard, then Natchez used it so i think ill leave the multihandle guessing up to the pros*L*

Vanax: Dana, Maybe the Dosset handle is used by a multitude of similarly intelligent and educated former teachers.

Dana: *LOL* @ Vanax

Planoman: Dana, too bad you weren't here to witness Rakitach in all his glorly slandering a dead chatter (BHL, Troub’s former husband), then ignorantly claiming to educate a younge chatter who was simply trying to have a discussion then calling her an idiot...........then makes a cheeky remark about her "bringing another rightwinger in the world." This is what you have all become..........democlones

Rakitach: Planoman, I said she sounded stupid; I did not say "an idiot." Learn to read. Shoot, Dana is right; You indeed may be a Republitard.

SaltCloud: Owen then said that the invasion was "An act intended to consolidate American military and economic control of the Middle East masquerading - as a last resort (all other justifications having failed to justify themselves) - as liberation. A formidable assertion of military force responsible for the death and mutilation of thousands upon thousands of innocent people."

Vanax: Plano, you are reverting to your extremely bad Rightwing syntax. What are you talking about?

Planoman: Vanax...I just have to wonder as to exactly how many stupid, disgusting things you are going to say today
